Alfa Romeo does not surf on the right wave for several months in the Australian market with sales figures in constant decline (and necessarily problematic). The Italian firm decides to reconquer this cliéntèle lost in the competition leaving a special series for the 147 and GT coupe.

This special series Monza obviously no need for you to specify the choice of surname, is divided on 147 and Alfa GT Coupe. Among the equipment that enrich models include pell-mell: rob a rear (only for 147), leather sport seats, interior lights "red sport", with passenger details satin effect (the term is widely used), exit 'Exhaust chrome, alloy rims 18 inches and red brake calipers. The Monza declination is only available with the bloc essence of 165 horses while the 147 is offered with either the petrol engine of 150 hp or JTD Multijet 150-hp too.

Rates from 36 990 Australian dollars or about 22 700 € the conversion.

Now we are sure the will of leaders from Alfa Romeo to develop a more sharpened their beautiful sports car, they still get the final green light across the entire Fiat group. Good news, it would appear that the project is really on track with new details that are beginning to emerge.

Firstly, the launch of the 8C GTA should coincide with the anniversary of the mark: Alfa Romeo fêterait its 100 years of existence in 2010 by the launch of this series almost Limited, which is not yet known how many copies broadcast (the current 8C is entirely produced in 1000 copies).

Next, the detailed technical 8C improved this should be particularly attractive: Coach announced a gain of 150 kilos. The current weighs 1580, we would therefore weighing below 1450 pounds. From the side of power, the 4.7 liter V8 should be increased to around 500 horses.

This promises undoubtedly beautiful ruades and a level of performance high, pending the projected rotation for the years 2011-2012.

The icing on the cake, the Italian brand reflect more and more to register its 8C competing to prove its value.
